Endocrine
glands are those that secrete hormones directly into the blood
or lymph and circulate to all parts of the body. Depending on the
type of hormone, it can have specific effects on an organ or tissue
or general effects on the entire body.
The impact
of endocrine disorders on medical malpractice can be multivariate,
but most frequently careless or negligent treatment of patients
with preexisting diabetes causes many subsequent problems
that can give rise to a medical malpractice suit.
